Why Did You
Decide to Become
a Dentist?

ALT

Dr. Irons says she was fortunate to have had amazing dentists growing up who became mentors as she pursued her career. They helped her learn two very important things about herself: 1. She had the desire to go into healthcare, and 2. She loved working with her hands and the artistic elements of dentistry. The more she learned about the profession, the better fit it seemed to be, and she hasn’t looked back since!

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Irons completed her undergraduate education at the University of Southern Mississippi before going on to earn her Masters of Biomedical Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Since finishing school, she has been very active in Spear and TeamACT Education Study Clubs, doing continuing education in dental surgery focused on implant placement and restoration. She is also certified to provide Invisalign through the Invisalign Training Institute and proud to be a member of Women in Dentistry.
