Andrea, Team Lead

Southwest Dental Arts Team Lead, Andrea

Andrea’s passionate about getting to know every patient who walks through our practice doors and taking the time to build lasting connections with them. It makes her feel so happy to see a patient’s confidence grow after they receive treatment. With over five years of experience in the dental field, she’s a graduate of the College of Western Idaho, where she received her Associate of Applied Science and completed their dental assisting program. Now, she’s the Team Lead here at Southwest Dental Arts!

From Meridian, Idaho, Andrea lives with her boyfriend of nearly a decade and their chihuahua, named Batman. Batman is her little baby who she loves dearly! She also has a Labrador retriever named star and a chunky kitty named Marbles. Whenever she isn’t at the dental office, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and spending time with her pets. One interesting fact about her is that Back to the Future is her favorite trilogy—she’s probably seen it 100 times!

Kayla, Lead Dental Assistant

Kayla’s favorite part of her job is being able to build relationships with her patients and her incredibly hard-working team. She received her dental assisting training at Assist to Succeed and has over a year of experience in the dental field.

Originally from Plano, Texas, Kayla has three brothers and a sister, and together, they were all raised mainly by her father, who passed away in 2022. Whenever she isn’t at the office, she enjoys body building, camping, fishing, and going to live concerts. A fun fact about Kayla is that her grandmother retired as a dental assistant, which is what inspired her to go into the dental field!

Kimberly, Dental Hygienist

Kimberly’s favorite part of her career is being able to build relationships with her patients, especially those who have dental anxiety. She enjoys being able to help calm their nerves little by little after each visit. Kimberly has over a decade of experience in the dental field and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University.

From Boisie, Idaho, Kimberly met her husband in college. They have two sons and a daughter who all love to play sports and enjoy school. Whenever she isn’t at the office, she enjoys going for runs, being active outside, and watching her kids play sports. An interesting fact about Kimberly is that she has a twin sister who is her best friend!

Francis, Receptionist/Dental Assistant

Southwest Dental Arts Receptionist/Dental Assistant, Francis

Francis attended Cottey College before studying at Carrington College for her certification in dental assisting. She enjoys being able to help patients get the treatment they need, both at the front as well as during procedures. The best part of her job is working alongside an amazing dentist and team while making sure patients feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way.

Born and raised in New Rochelle, NY, Francis enjoys hobbies like riding bikes on the green belts, going to different hot springs, camping during all four seasons, and crocheting. She also has 10 hermit crabs!
